Preserving Indian Culture and Traditions for Future Generations: Kovida Sahrdaya Foundation’s Petition Presented to Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy

Kachiguda, [10/05/23] – The significance of passing on Indian culture and traditions to future generations was emphasized by Union Culture and Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy during a recent event. A delegation led by Kalabandhu Dr Anuhya Reddy, Founder President of Kovida Sahrdaya Foundation and Honorary President of Telangana Folk Artisans Association, presented a petition to Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy at the BJP city office in Barkathpura on Tuesday.                         

Dr Anuhya Reddy expressed her appreciation for the minister’s dedication to the art sector, highlighting his proactive approach to supporting the arts. The gathering also included BJP Hyderabad Central District President Dr N. Gautam Rao, Chinuku Cultural Society System General Secretary, Poet Analyst PS Murthy, Traditional Classical Dance Guru Tadita Rulu, and several other distinguished personalities.

Under the guidance of Kalabandhu Dr G. Anuhya Reddy, founder of Kovida Sahrudaya Foundation, and Honorary President of Telangana State Folk Professional Artists Association, a petition was submitted to Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, focusing on the betterment of the lifestyle and well-being of classical artists. The event took place at the BJP office in Barkathpura, with the participation of esteemed cultural dance artists and masters.

Addressing the gathering, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy emphasized the need for efforts to preserve and strengthen Indian traditions and culture. He called upon the party workers to actively contribute to the strengthening of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The meeting, held at the BJP city office under the leadership of BJYM Hyderabad Central District General Secretary A. Yashwant, saw the presence of Dr Anuhya Reddy as the chief guest, who expressed confidence in the support the central government’s welfare schemes are receiving from the people.

Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy assured the attendees that the party workers would be given their due recognition and a prominent role in the public movement. He emphasized the crucial role of the youth in the upcoming assembly elections, reinforcing the significance of their participation in the political landscape.
